Setup Tips for Laptop
🖱️
Click the player tab first
Make sure the browser tab has focus before pressing keys, or they'll go to another app.
🔊
Turn on sound first
Check your speakers or headphones before your first note to get immediate audio feedback.
⌨️
Use the letter row before the number row
Master the white-note layout on E–O before adding the Vikrit (black) keys on the number row.
💪
Laptop beats phone for learning
The physical keyboard gives fixed, repeatable positions that build muscle memory faster than touchscreen.
Common Problems & Fixes
⚠️ Keys aren't responding
Click back into the browser tab to give it focus. The page needs to be the active element to receive keyboard events.
⚠️ Number row is confusing
That's normal at first. Stick to the E–O white keys until they feel solid, then add the number-row Vikrit keys.
⚠️ Mobile feels harder than laptop
It is — physical keys give stable positions and allow faster repetition. Practice on laptop first.
⚠️ Full player feels overwhelming
Finish this guided session first. Switch to the full player only after Sa Re Ga Ma feel automatic.
